Italian Kitchen designer Marco Gorini introduces Strato 031 kitchen design, sophisticated kitchen result of a project centered on attention to details Today the contemporary kitchen environment represents a place where creativity and conviviality are expressed, a space that integrates perfectly in the rest of the house, an intimate spot able to rouse intense emotions in which to spend pleasant moments together with the others in harmony with our own personality and taste. Keeping in mind the manners of the new culture of living Marco Gorini has created Strato 031, result of an ambitious and sophisticated project expressing individual personality. This extraordinary creation stands out for something special in a fully-developed luxury characterized by a discretion whose themes are rigorous shapes, essential lines, games of joints; all this with no compromise with functionality. For Strato 031, exceptional piece of deign, Strato has reserved a particular attention to the search of precious materials using, besides to stainless steel and stone, the rare and valuable fossil durmast, unusual wood not deriving from deforestation but form the subsoil, fruit of the course of nature which gave it its special smoky look. Strato 031 is made up of two units: one block against the wall and an island interpreting the wish to share the space and the pleasures of the table. The vertical unit is made up of a satin finished stainless steel structure with no junctions framing four columns with fossil durmast doors. The two central doors are fitted out with foldaway opening and integrated electrical appliances, thanks to this system those are at easy reach when in use, and in any other moment the uniformity of the front is preserved. The side columns are to use as storage, their interior structure is in brown stone, shelves in glass, because according to Strato the finishing and the preciousness have to live not only in the exterior parts, but also inside, not only in what is visible to anyone, but also in that dimension concerning ourselves only. The hood, imposing and harmonic, is made up of one block of stainless steel finding its support on the top of the vertical furniture and stretching out to guarantee the aspiration until hanging over the cooking area. The island is really special and complex, to be seen to be touched to be understood. Stainless steel structure, covering panels of the top and fronts in fossil durmast, fossil durmast and stainless steel for the interiors. The worktop is covered by three panels: two of them are sliding and give access to cooking and washing area, here a flexible tap allows perfect closure. The back of the island is an “el” shaped one-block stainless steel crossing the shoulder of the other side. Strong character and refinement, Strato 031 is a timeless piece confirming the comeback to pure and essential shapes in contemporary kitchen and sticking to Strato’s tradition, it never gives up its innate class and the highest quality.
